Introducing Decoy PIN for Enhanced Privacy!

We’ve added a new feature to boost your privacy and security in critical situations. The Decoy PIN is a clever way to protect your sensitive information when you might be forced to unlock your app.

Hidden Mode with Decoy PIN:

- Set up a special Decoy PIN (another 4-digit code).

- When you enter the Decoy PIN, the app opens in a hidden mode, shielding all your conversations and contacts.

What Happens in Hidden Mode:

No one can see your real data; it’s all concealed.

Switching Back to Regular Mode:

Just enter your regular PIN to return to your normal app view.

Offline-LockTM

For enhanced privacy and control of your chat conversations, enabling this feature ensures that your chat can only be viewed when the viewer is connected to the internet.

Even if you or someone else opens the chat no messages will be visible. This way if either party decides to Terminate, or Erase the conversation, nobody/neither party, will be able to view any of the messages while the phone is offline. Once connected to the internet, xPal will check for termination and if so, it will be Erased instantly.

The other person does not need to be online at the same time as you, but the conversation will only be accessible when they are connected to the internet.

Only the person who enabled this feature can disable it, once it’s turned on.

What is Remote WipeoutTM?

In the case your device is lost or stolen, Remote Wipeout enables you to wipeout the entire xPal data in the lost device.

Remote Wipeout*™ , once activated in the Settings so, it will force the app to check for network connection before starting. If there is no network connection present it will not open the app.

If your device is lost or stolen, you can login to another device with your XID and activate, then choose to wipeout the previous device data. Once the lost device is connected to the internet, it will instantly wipeout the xPal data permanently.

Self-Destruct

When enabled, this feature will automatically delete all conversations and history this device after 7, 14, or 30 days if the app remains inactive.

This feature is designed to protect your privacy in case your device is lost or stolen.
