Total Wipeout™ in xPal is a built-in emergency security feature that permanently deletes encrypted chats, secure call logs, and shared media from the sender and receiver ends on their devices. This is a proprietary feature of the xPal messenger app.
Most secure messaging platforms just focus on end-to-end encryption, secure transmission, and protected storage when data is still there and can be inappropriately accessed.
What would happen when control is lost, and private user information is at stake?
Far fewer platforms address situations when a user suddenly loses control of their device or account.
Phones can get seized, someone can try to get forced access, and things can be changed suddenly. In these emergency moments, you can't stand there scrolling through conversations and deleting messages one by one; it is pointless!
xPal's Total Wipeout™ feature exists for such exact moments and enforces complete data deletion with a PIN in reverse.
It is designed for instant, irreversible erasure without warnings, confirmations, or noticeable triggers.
It is not for daily use or convenience; it is designed as a last-resort privacy control because there can be external threats, and privacy must be considered for every possible scenario.
This one-step privacy feature permanently ends all communication history linked with your xPal secure messaging app account by activating a 4-digit or 6-digit Reverse Pin trigger.
The user enters the PIN in reverse. Once activated, the following data are erased immediately and without leaving a trace:
This deletion happens on your device and on the devices of everyone you have communicated with.
This includes their side of the chat, including their replies or any shared files on their device, which are removed as well.
Most importantly:
There is no notification of the Total Wipeout™ process sent to recipients, no recovery, no undo, and no confirmation screen.
Once done, the action is final!
xPal secure messenger has a PIN-based access system to protect the user account. Total Wipeout™ extends this system by incorporating a PIN in reverse command.
If a user PIN is 1234, entering 4321 activates Total Wipeout™
This single action:
Your contacts remain hidden until you later log in using the correct PIN. They are not permanently deleted to ensure no visible association is exposed during or after the wipe.
The PIN in reverse behaves like a normal login attempt, so nothing seems suspicious. There are no visual indicators or warnings.
This design is intentionally silent and important to the purpose of the feature.
Total Wipeout™ is structured on the assumption that users may not always be operating under ideal normal situations. It is not for routine or everyday use; it is meant for critical scenarios.
In such an unexpected situation, it is a risk if requirements involve several steps, confirmations, or menu or option navigation. Therefore, xPal encrypter messenger removes those dependencies.
Nonetheless, xPal does not collect personal data, does not track users, does not expose identities, and does not monetize communication metadata. Total Wipeout™ is a direct extension of this philosophy; your data remains untouched even under emergencies, and if encrypted data must not exist anymore, the user must have the ability to remove it completely and instantly!
What if I enter my PIN wrong by mistake? Will it wipe everything?
No. Only the exact reverse of your correct PIN triggers Total Wipeout™. Any other wrong attempt just counts as a failed login.
Why is there no warning before wiping?
This feature is for emergency protection, where instant action is needed.
Is this feature meant for everyday use?
No. It's for emergencies, high-risk situations, or when you need a total reset.
Can I test Reverse PIN safely?
No. Testing it will permanently wipe your data.
Will it affect my subscription or Gold membership?
No. Your subscription remains intact.
Will my account be deleted after the wipe?
No. Your xID stays active. Only the communication history is destroyed.
Will the other person know I triggered Total Wipeout™?
No alert is sent. The chat simply disappears from both sides.
Will it wipe group chats, too?
Yes. All message history between you and others disappears.
